Artish x Durasein

Durasein recently interviewed us as part of their D Lab series and they asked us what our dream design project would be - Courtney and I both said an outdoor bathhouse. When the folks at Durasein heard that, they gave us the green light to start working on a design collaboration with Omega Render to bring the bathhouse and furniture concept to life.

We got to work on envisioning how we could combine some curvy Durasein solid surface with the angularity of metal, and you see some of those ideas at play here. The long low chaise and the shorter lounge chair both can be boosted at the base with Durasein solid surface cylinders, and those same cylinders can then be used as side tables in the bathhouse. That’s our signature style, of flexible and modular furniture. We also incorporated some of our original collection pieces, with the Chill Pill mirrors on the cliff faces and in the pattern of the soaking pools to mimic our Wifi wall art kit.

The result is a remote Mediterranean island filled with sexy sculptural furniture and modern Artish-inspired dipping pools built into a red clay cliff. Now we’ve just got to make this happen in real life!
