New Carolina, a curated show of contemporary design in NC

We were thrilled to be a part of New Carolina, a curated showcase of contemporary furniture and textile design in North Carolina. Furniture and textiles have been stalwart industries in North Carolina for over 100 years and remain so today, even as the industries evolve.

Much of the state’s success is credited to the community of highly skilled artisans dedicated to timeless, uncompromising quality.

New Carolina is an opportunity to connect Triangle design studios - like us! - who bring fresh, contemporary perspective to the industry’s legacy.

Plus our very own Courtney and Tactile Workshop built the steel armature that became the central point to showcase one piece from each designer in a faux livable space.

The NC community showed up strong for this event and it was inspiring to see the support for emerging contemporary design in the Triangle and North Carolina at large. Many thanks to the creator and producer of the event - Ana Maria Munoz of Port of Raleigh!
